Nokia C6-01

The Nokia C5-03 was announced a little later than the Nokia C6-01. What are the improvements made in the short period of time in between the anouncements?

The devices are pretty similar but the major difference appears to be that the Nokia C6-01 has a large main camera rated at 8-megapixels and a secondary VGA camera. The Nokia C5-03 only has a main 5-megapixel camera.

The other differences are that the Nokia C6-01 has a 680 MHz processor whilst the Nokia C5-03 has a 600 MHz processor. The Nokia C5-03 takes SD cards of up to 16 GB whereas the C6-01 takes SD cards of up to 32 GB in size. The Nokia C5-03 has a measly 40 MBs of storage and 128 MB of RAM. The Nokia C6-01 has a little more storage at 340 MB and comes with double the RAM (of the C5-03) at 256 MB.

The Nokia C5-03 is the lighter of the two phones at 93g to the 131g of the Nokia C6-01.

Since the phones are pretty similar, my opinion is that I would not pay an extra 50% for the better Nokia C6-01. If you can stomach the slightly lower specs then the Nokia C5-03 seems to offer better value for money.
